Central Coast Dog Obedience Training Club
The Central Coast Dog Obedience Training Club began in 1967.
The reason for the Club's existence is twofold:
- to assist the community to train their dogs to be welcome members of the community
- to train dogs to a higher standard for Obedience, Rally and Agility competition.
The Club is affiliated with Dogs NSW which is the governing body of dog sports in NSW. Dogs NSW is a member of the Australian National Kennel Council.
For many years the Club was located at Gosford Showground, however at the end of 1996 we achieved a long held dream to have a place to call home. The John Hatton Centre at Patrick Croke Oval, Kincumber was built with the assistance of Gosford City Council and The Department of Sport and Recreation and we took up residence at the beginning of 1997.
